Lakeville Regency was completed in late 2005 and it is the 2nd phase of the Lakeville compounds. It is situated in Xintiandi, the 5-star area in the city, surrounded with fine restaurants, cafes and luxury shopping malls. The compound consists of 17 colonial style buildings offering 645 units in total. Apartments were renovated with the uniformed style by the developer before they were sold to the individual landlords, so the fixtures in most of the apartments look the same, while furnishings vary from each unit according to the individual landlords. Shama serviced company owns one building in the compound providing serviced apartments to the residents. Lakeville Regency also provides the residents with an exclusive club house in the compound which is considered to be the best clubhouse in the downtown area. The facilities include indoor swimming pool, indoor basketball court and tennis court, mini golf, sauna etc. The size of the apartments in Lakeville regency ranges from 91sqm (1 bedroom apartment in the Shama building) to 644sqm (5 bedroom penthouse) for different residents’ need.
